A session plan: rounds of drills in stations, with easier and harder versions
A drill with duration, players, a skill video link and a pitch diagram

Plan sessions

A great session in minutes.

Tell CatchSolo who’s coming, how many coaches you have and what gear and space you’ve got, and it builds a session for your age group from skills and drills. Swap any drill you don’t fancy, then confirm the plan.

  • Plans that fit your numbers, gear and space
  • Diagrams, coaching points and a link to watch the skill
  • Easier and harder versions to suit the group
Match day with the clock, score, players on the pitch and on the bench

Match day

Calm on the sideline.

The clock, the score and a subs tracker on one screen. Tap a player to record a score or make a sub, and see at a glance who has played least so everyone gets a fair run.

  • Clock, score and subs together
  • Game time for every player
  • Two teams for an in-house game
The squad: players by initials with positions and stronger side
The register, saved on the phone to send when there is signal

Your squad

Your squad, kept simple.

A player is their initials and year of birth. From U10, positions show as GK, DF, MD and FW alongside each player’s stronger side. Take the register with no signal and it sends itself when you’re back in range.

  • Initials and year of birth; anything more is optional
  • Positions from U10 and stronger side
  • A register that works offline

Player of the week

Celebrate effort, not just scores.

A small thank-you for effort, kindness and good habits. Over the season, everyone gets their turn.

Practice paths

A path of skills for your child’s level, a week at a time. Each activity is watch, try, check, about ten minutes, and they move up when they’re ready.

Challenges

How many can they do? Beat your best to climb from Bronze through Silver, Gold and Elite, then go for Legend.

Stars and streaks

A star every time you tap “We did it”, a weekly goal, streaks for weeks in a row, and badges to keep.

Questions

Good to know.

How much does CatchSolo cost?

CatchSolo is free during the pilot.

Which teams is it for?

Gaelic football, hurling and dual teams, from Under 6 to Under 18. You choose your code and age group when you set up your team.

What does the app keep about children?

A player needs only initials and a year of birth. Anything more, like a name or a guardian’s contact, is optional.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. The register, skills and match results work with no signal and are sent when your phone is back in range.

How do families join the challenge board?

The head coach starts a board for the team and shares a code. Families add their child with the code, and the coach accepts each one before anything is shared.

Can more than one coach use it?

Yes. The head coach can invite assistant coaches by link or email, and everyone works from the same squad, sessions and matches.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, at any time, from Team settings in the app. The support page explains what is removed.
